Review:
They have just released the second installment of English Electric, which at present time do very well at top 2013 lists. This is part one, which was released last year.
They are heavily influenced by the 70's mainly english prog rock scene, n vocalist
David Longdon
use much of the same song techniques as Peter Gabriel did as vocalist in Genesis.
This is a well-made album filled w strong melodies.

Review:
The Korea released one of last year best deathcore album. Now it seems they trying to broaden their audience w a 3-song ep in both english n russian. They continues from where they left off, w 3 killer songs in their djenty, groovy, sci-fi metal style. In their third song Pole, they even put in a jazz/metallish guitar solo.
For my part i dont care if they sing in english or russian, though i think singing in their motherlanguage, makes them a bit more exotic.

Review:
Ever since i began listening to metal, ive had a weak spot for the italian progressive power metal scene, w bands like Vision Divine n DGM. I have been familiar w this band before this release, but i havent rly listened to them. This will surerly change, because Kingcrow w their 5th full-length have released an album filled of w great songs.
In metal-style i would say they lean towards bands like Disillusion n Shadow Gallery, w influence from modern progressive rock n swedish progressive rock/metal, where i hear The Flower Kings n Pain Of Salvation, whom they toured w in n. america this may.
Highly Recommended

Review:
Got into this band w their previous album, Epoch, that had some rly good songs, but where i think the overall result was just above mediocre.
This time they personalize their identity w an atmospheric mix of early prog rock influence fused into black metal. Their sound is cold, but still feels warm n comforting. Among all the good songs on this album, is 'The Black Sound' that got a great epic intro, which i think represents the sound of the album.
Highly recommended.

Amorphis, Hopeless Days, from their upcomming album 'Circle'
Italian prog metallers Dgm, comes out w a new album in less than a week. After touring w Pagan's Mind n Symphony X, they got lofstad to contribute on a song, n Russel Allen to sing on this. Sounds like they moved forward, but still got their sound intact.
Intronaut released their new album a few days ago. Enjoy;)
Review:
7th full-length from the americans. Its a brutal, yet very melodic album. The guitar-riffs r killers n the guitar solos seems out of touch w the first listenings, but when u get into them, they add great, melodic layers to the music.
Not as progressive as i would like it to be, but still a great record.
Highly Recommended.
